Keyboard Shortcuts

Quick reference for RheoCast keyboard shortcuts during live services and in Creator Studio.

Master these shortcuts to operate RheoCast efficiently during live services.

General

These work anywhere in the app unless you are typing in an input field.

Present › Live

Go Live has no keyboard shortcut. Use the toggle on the Display Preview panel. The separate Go Live for streaming is in the Broadcast tab.

Present › Notes

Highlight a sentence in a note first, then:

⌘/Ctrl + ⇧ + LSend it as a lower third, over every scene until cleared
⌘/Ctrl + ⇧ + SSend it into the scene, wherever that scene places it

Broadcast

Search Bar Shortcuts

Available when the search bar is focused in the Live view.

EscClose search dropdown and blur search bar

Focusing the search bar temporarily pauses transcription. Blurring it resumes if transcription was active.

Verse List

When the verse list at the bottom of the Live view is focused:

Creator Studio

⌘/Ctrl + FFind in page (Transcript, Summary, Notes, Devotional tabs)

Tips

  • Start below the Live Transcript begins transcription — Space toggles it from anywhere (when not typing).
  • Go Live on Display Preview sends verses to your projector/NDI/overlay — it does not start transcription.
  • Escape instantly clears the display. Use it when the pastor moves to a non-scripture section.
  • On macOS, Cmd replaces Ctrl in all shortcuts above.
